HealthServe Fire/EMS Executive Staff

GLENN GOODPASTER, CPA is Executive Vice President of Business Development with primary responsibility for developing short and long-term strategies for growing EMS and MVA business lines. Prior to joining HealthServe, LLC in January of 2001, Glenn was President and owner of RSG Consulting Group, Inc., a medical practice administrative firm located in Cincinnati, Ohio. RSG Consulting Group, Inc. provided medical billing services, accounting services, and income tax planning/compliance services to over 200 physicians of various specialties. Glenn graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BSBA and was awarded his CPA certificate in 1985; Glenn joined the HealthServe team in December 2000.

CARL REEDY is the Fire/EMS Division Vice-President of Operations. Carl joined the HealthServe, LLC team in 2005 having spent the previous three years as a division president for an Ohio-based billing company. Prior to Carl’s billing industry tenure, he spent over 30 years in the Ohio fire service, most of those with the City of Huber Heights, Ohio. Carl began his career in Huber Heights  in 1977 and rose through the ranks until he was named Chief in 1998. During his fire service career, Carl was an innovator in regional Fire/EMS response and was heavily involved in EMS having maintained State of Ohio paramedic and ACLS certifications. Carl also is a recognized fire service consultant in Ohio and as Fire Chief, was a pioneer in establishing EMS billing in West Central Ohio.

STEVE CULHAM is the Vice-President of Marketing for HealthServe’s Fire/EMS Division. Steve joined HealthServe in 2005 with three years of prior experience directing marketing operations for an Ohio-based EMS billing company. Prior to working with EMS billing clients, Steve spent 26 years in the fire service having retired from the Huber Heights Fire Department in 2000. During Steve’s fire service career, Steve was a paramedic, ACLS instructor and State of Ohio EMT instructor. In 1995, Steve co-founded a Fire/EMS software company and was instrumental in developing fire and EMS software applications for customers throughout Ohio.

TIM GREEN is HealthServe’s Fire/EMS Director of Client Services, and is responsible for client implementation and training, with special emphasis on regulatory compliance. Tim moved to HealthServe in 2005 with five years of billing experience with an Ohio-based billing company. Tim’s professional background is rooted deep in the fire service; Tim retired from the fire service in 1999 having spent 27 years as a firefighter and paramedic with the Kettering Fire Division. At the time of his retirement, Tim was EMS Director in Kettering; additionally, Tim was a  1996 graduate of the National Fire Academy’s EMS Leadership Series. Tim has extensive experience with all aspects of billing, especially those that deal with legislative, compliance and HIPAA issues.

TED REEDY is a Regional Manager for HealthServe’s Fire/EMS Division and brings to HealthServe an impressive resume of fire and EMS experience. Ted joined HealthServe in 2005 after having retired as the Fire Chief of Franklin Township, a suburb of Columbus, OH. During his 15-year tenure as fire chief, Ted became known as an innovator in Franklin County’s fire service having been a pioneer in areas such as field reporting of fire and EMS information, automatic mutual aid strategies and EMS billing. In fact, as fire chief in Franklin Township, Ted was instrumental in establishing one of the first EMS transport billing programs in Central Ohio. In addition to Ted’s duties as HealthServe’s Regional Manager of Client Services, Ted works as a consultant to Ohio’s fire service.
